Once again, I found myself attending an event at SC Viper in Chino, CA (*ew*) because I freakin' love tearin' it up at this place.  I had another outstanding time at an outstanding field.  Truth be told, it was an all-weekend event going on Saturday AND Sunday.  However, Sunday, I had to keep it real, so I had to stuff all my winning into Saturday's festivities.  I have to hand it to my buddy, Jet del Castillo, who is the Airsoft Director for the Giant Airsoft parks in Southern California.  He runs a pretty good event.  Pretty well-organized. Vendors seemed happy.  Players seemed happy.  I didn't see any shenanigans go down like I've seen at other large, SoCal Airsoft events, so all in all, I'd say Jethro did some winning this weekend as well, despite not being able to actually play Airsoft at his own event.  Sorry, homie.

Also, please note that the photo above appears green because Jet put these crazy, colored gel filters on the big ol' flood lights that illuminate the field.  It was not an attempt to get featured on YouAreNotaPhotographer.com.  Although, now that I've mentioned it, I wouldn't be surprised if that's where I ended up.

Some dude checkin' out the KWA M4 ERG that I featured here on the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog a couple weeks ago.  Turns out, I still find the KWA RM4 ERG as awesome now as I did when I made that awful video a few weeks ago.

Here's a rack system that I'd like to get my hands on ASAP.  A bunch of KWA M4 ERGs.  But Wait...What's that...???

One of these guys is not like the other.  That's because the KWA LM4 PTR prototype decided to make an appearance now that the BATFE has given its design their all-important blessing.

Here's a shot of the ol' KWA M93R, which I'm told is getting a bit of a facelift to include the work, "Raffica" on its body somewhere.  THE one and only, Mr. Allen "Allizard" Lau busted out his best Italian dialect as he explained that the "R" in "M93R" stands for "Raffica," which in Italiano means, "Burst."  Which is appropriate when you consider this is a Beretta model replica, and Beretta is an Italian company, not to mention the M93R has not only a semi-automatic mode, but it also fires in "Burst" mode as well.  Everyone say, "OOOOOOOOOHHHH" in unison.  Education.

So I was about to leave the KWA booth to go on to the other booths, when The Lizard yells at me, "Hey, Tom Harris.  I suggest you take a photo of me and my ballin' crew here, otherwise I'll never let you hang out with my awesome KWA prototypes ever again."  Naturally, you can guess what happened next...

This young lady was kind enough to let me pester her with questions about The Airsoft League, which is a target-based, tactical shooting competition for Airsoft players that think they know what they're doing in a team-based environment.  They've got some pretty high-tech target systems, which I'm told will be getting upgraded and "weaponized" so that they shoot back at the competitors to add just a little extra sumthin' to think about while you're trying to complete the course for the fastest time.

They have a bomb.  Technically, it's a mock bomb.  But still.  It's pretty tight.  And yes, you must program the disarming code in to the bomb's keypad in order to disarm it.  If you don't, well....let's just say...you lose.

Here's one of their targets (pre-weaponization), featuring three different points to aim for.  They light up or do other stuff when you shoot them.  Like I said, fancy stuff here.

This playa is actually not a player, but a ref at SC Viper and he apparently thought he looked pretty stinkin' hardcore in his yellow ref t-shirt and borderline demanded that his photo be taken to document the amount of handsomeness that he was currently exhibiting.  Actually, he was a pretty cool dude and did no demanding whatsoever.  He IS actually a ref though.  They don't just give those whistles out to everyone.

Voodoo Tactical booth.  This was what the booth looked like BEFORE people found out my boy, Jayson, was selling all those goodies.  Once word got out, it was like a feeding frenzy of Airsoft players trying to get their hands on some outstanding tactical gear for pretty impressive deals.

This gentleman did an excellent job impersonating my "baldy with a beard" look.  Although my beard is approaching new levels of epic on a daily basis now, so he's quite a bit behind at this point.  But an A for effort.

First and foremost.  Those two squirrels are very much alive and remained so after this photo was taken.  Also, they placed themselves in this trashcan, so they only have themselves to blame for this embarrassing shot of them getting caught with their entire bodies in the proverbial cookie jar.  Classic.  Dumb squirrels.  They're lucky I didn't eat them with some mayonnaise.

Notice the flag is raised.  Game over.  In a show of poor sportsmanship, the other team decided to keep shooting him, so he was all like, "hey, what the heck?!" to those idiots.
