The shots were hitting about 5-10 to the left of where I was aiming and there was no hop-up being applied.
The instruction manual was brief and didn't mention anything about a hop-up even existing, which is concerning to me, but doesn't mean that one doesn't exist in the Wesson revolver.
After visually inspecting the back end of the barrel with the cylinder released so that I could do so, I could see immediately, as I had suspected, that there was quite a bit of dirt, debris and/or grease in there that most definitely needed to come out of that inner barrel.
A clean barrel is a mean barrel.

I really didn't want to have to take the time to figure out how to take this thing apart in order to clean it, I used an unjamming rod and small pieces of paper towel strips to swab the inner barrel, starting from the front of the gun barrel, with the swab and cleaning rod exiting the barrel from that silver entrance point I just mentioned.
Since the unjamming rod was flexible enough, I didn't have any problems pulling it out from that point even though there doesn't appear to be enough clearance for it to do so in the image.
Just trust me on this one.

Sorry to read the problems you encountered with the Dan Wesson. The picture does show the dirt and grime. I hope that it working good for you, and is shooting better for you. i will be looking forward to your next post.
Thanks, Scott. I actually DID get it working and it's shoots unbelievably awesome now.
